SmileCap

SmileCap is an automatic smile camera for iPhone. Using your front camera and on-device smile detection, it lets you take hands-free selfies without reaching for the shutter.

Free hands-free selfies

• Solo selfies — Use Single mode to take photos with one person in the frame.
• Smile to capture — Hold your smile through a two-second countdown, and SmileCap takes the photo automatically.
• Your smile, your setting — Adjust the smile target to choose how much of a smile triggers the countdown.
• Keep smiling for more — Take more photos without tapping the shutter between shots. Once a photo is saved, keep smiling for a fresh countdown and another shot.
• Frame it your way — Choose 9:16, 3:4 or 1:1 and use the composition grid to line up your shot. Your photos match the mirrored front-camera preview.
• Save and review — Save photos to your photo library with your permission, and view your latest photo right in the app.

Smile-triggered group photos with PRO

Bring friends and family into the picture with Group mode.

• Includes all free features.
• Automatically tracks smiles for up to 6 people.
• Choose how many marked people need to smile: everyone marked, or a number from 1 to 6.
• Takes the photo when the required number of marked people meet the smile target and hold it through the two-second countdown.

Group mode requires at least two people to be detected and marked. By default, everyone marked needs to smile. If you choose a specific number, at least that many marked people must meet the smile target.

More than 6 people can be in the photo. SmileCap tracks up to 6 marked people; anyone else in the frame does not count toward the smile requirement.

Group mode is available with a one-time in-app purchase of SmileCap Pro. No subscription.

On-device smile detection and privacy

Smile detection happens on your iPhone. SmileCap does not upload your photos or facial data. No account required.
